What does "Restore" mean in iTunes?

Be careful about "Restore," especially if you have a pre-loaded birdJam iPod and have NOT gone through the entire the birdJam Maker installation process.

If you Restore your iPod, you are returning it to original factory settings which means that you are wiping out all content on the iPod.

If you have loaded the bird songs into iTunes and run birdJam Maker to format and organize the songs, then you just need to sync and download the bird songs again. (No big deal!)

However, if you haven't done the installation process but for some reason want to Restore your iPod, read the birdJam Maker installation instructions carefully. The installation instructions are available via the Help menu in birdJam Maker.
