My iPod screen keeps gong dark; how do I get it to stay lighted up?

iPods are set so that the screen goes dark after 10 seconds; this is to conserve the battery. To extend the time your screen stays light, go to the Main Menu on your iPod; scroll down to and select Settings. Now scroll down and select Backlight. If you wish to set the Backlight Setting to 30 seconds, for example, scroll down and select 30 seconds.
